Introduction

The TrakMark Benchmark Database is meant to aid research efforts in the area of development, testing and evaluation of tracking and registration algorithms for mixed and augmented reality. The TrakMark Working Group assembles a wide range of material as a unique repository including image sequences, movie clips, and associated data provided from the contributors. The material is published online for the above mentioned research purposes.The TrakMark Benchmark Database is meant to aid research efforts in the area of development, testing and evaluation of tracking and registration algorithms for mixed and augmented reality. Release of the Image Sequence Sets No.1 / No.2

Each dataset in the Image Sequence Sets No.1 / No.2 can be downloaded as a zip file from a dedicated URL. In order to proceed to the URL, the user must fill out the request form at the bottom of this page.

Failure to observe the following terms may result in access to the database being denied.

Consent

Users of the TrakMark Benchmark Image Sequence Sets No.1 / No.2 agree to the following terms:

  1. Modification and Commercial Use: The Image Sequence Sets No.1 / No.2, in whole or in part, may not be modified or used for commercial purposes.
  2. Requests for the TrakMark Benchmark: All inquiries related to the Image Sequence Sets No.1 / No.2 will be forwarded to the database administrator (info@trakmark.net).
  3. Publication Requirements: Users of the Image Sequence Sets No.1 / No.2 shall include the following items in their publications:

Indemnification: Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the TrakMark Working Group, its working members, supporters and contributors, individually and collectively, from any and all losses, expenses, damages, demands and/or claims based upon any such injury or damage (real or alleged) and shall pay all damages, claims, judgments or expenses resulting from the use of the database.

Requests

In addition, users of the TrakMark Benchmark Image Sequence Sets are highly encouraged to accommodate the following requests:

  1. Citation/Reference: All documents and papers that report on research using the Image Sequence Sets are encouraged to acknowledge the use of the database by including the following citation:

  2. Contributions to the TrakMark Working Group: Users of the Image Sequence Sets are encouraged to submit their benchmark results to the database administrator (info@trakmark.net). Additionally, users are also encouraged to submit to the database administrator a copy of all reports and papers meant for public or general release immediately upon publication.
